my car at the time didnt have Aircon, 99 passat, I had an airbag light on and the reader would read the module info and reset any codes, but locked up when it came to read the code... did the same with a missfire code on an 03 TT
I bought it from chinoeuk2010 on ebay and they said return it for a refund, i did and havent heard anything since...

    Got the scanner yesterday.
its ok, its a general scanner for all VAG models, you pick yes for vag and then you can read a list of 15 - 20 modules.
Aux Heat is one but i got a link error - ie not in my car, most did work and read.
I have 2 issues - swirl flaps and intermittent parking sensor.
I got t 4120 fault code for the swirl flaps of which i had to manually search the ross tech site to find out what it meant, and i wasn't able to find anything with the parking sensors.

I am maybe being unfair as i have used the BMW (can i say that here) c110, with this one you select your model ie 5 series then chassis, E60 for example, then you have a list of all, possible available modules.
This also has the same draw back as the vs450 of having to access them individually to scan.

but BM dont have VAG COM...

this is not me and i haven't watched it fully but seems to review the scanner:- Vgate Scan VS450 - YouTube
