So I've been on stage 3 "Preparation" for about a month now, with construction due to begin 29 August (tomorrow). Should I expect it to jump to stage 4 tomorrow then move one stage per day until QC where I believe it stays for a few days? I've read that it can sometimes be a bit erratic and jump several stages in a day...getting a bit impatient now!

    TIA

Well mine was due to start on 29, but got going a little early! Started moving on Wednesday and us currently at assembly - since Friday night. Either this takes a couple of days or factory doesn't work weekends, or your Audi doesn't update weekends. Either way it's on the move. any ideas how long from build to collection - is a month safe? Need to sort train and accommodation

Should be from my experience and from what others appear to have had. My build week start was 2nd May and I picked it up on the 21st.

Checked this morning and no movement, still on preparation. Hopefully it's not stuck here for ages!

Edit: does yourAudi update randomly or is it once per day at a set time?

For me all the updates were definitely between midnight and 5am but I think most were around 1am.

Only worth checking once a day!

Does anyone have a firm answer as to when the build week is confirmed ? I am still stuck at 3rd October but unconfirmed. I really need it to come forward.

Unlikely I think u should be hitting preparation stage fairly soon where everything will be locked in. I would go on the basis it's the 3rd and if earlier it's a bonus.

When I ordered I was assured the car would be ready for end of September. Dealer thinks it will come forward, but it seems nobody knows when this will be confirmed. I hope he is right !
