Question about headlights: Xenon or not Xenon

Hi All

I am going to have a look at an Alhambra on saturday 2ltr TDI SE Lux.
On those models, how do i check if the headlights are the Xenon units?
Is there something physical i ca look for?

If you're blinded when you look at them they're xenon... They'll also do a little start up routine normally. I'm sure YouTube will have a video of it

You'll know if it's not because the standard ones are really poor on dipped. Changing the standard bulbs helps, but if you get used to xenon you'll be disappointed by everything else. Standard bulbs burn with quite an orange colour, xenon are much whiter.
