Audi Connect license renewal?

Has anyone managed to get license extended before it actually expired? My car has just started warning me the license is going to expire on 22/12/17, but I would really like to be able to use the services over the Christmas period with traveling to various relatives on unfamiliar roads etc.

I reckon you can just call Audi UK and they will do it. Just explain the situ. Got nothing to lose?

Ring Audi CS as Andy says - they’ll renew it for a year. I’ve just literally done it for the wife’s car

Thanks all, I have got the license extension done (before it actually runs out on Friday). Thanks also to Audi CS.

Anyone done this recently? My warning popped up today as it expires 20th May. It directed me to MyAudi website but when I logged in, it just refers me to the dealer! I can only assume Audi don’t have an online shopping capability?

Hoping it’s not going to be a long-winded process. Any rough costs?

Not that recently, but about a year after the post above yours

and they happily renewed it for a second time

I did mine about 2 months ago mate. Rung up Audi CS and they said they still didnt have a way to charge us for renewal so just gave me another 12 months for free. It applied to my car in about 3 days.

Just had mine expire now, rang up CS (they have a dedicated Audi connect option) and they automatically renewed for another year

You are very lucky being in the UK, at least on this front. Here in the USA, Audi supply a miserly three months of Audi Connect for free with a new car, then they start charging you. An eighteen month extension costs $450. Enjoy your free extensions and feel gleefully smug that you get them!
