    Im after some help/advice please.

Just recently bought a 2007 A6 2.0 TDI saloon and I keep getting the back right light cluster going down. Which means when I start up and drive a bit I get the warning beep and display shows break light reverse light and right indicator not working. However this is intermittent and yesterday evening and this morning all works fine again. Has anyone had the same problem or know why it is happening??

Had same issue. I took it all out and cleaned connectors. Also it helps to twist the earth connector in the lamp a bit so it fits tighter. No issues since ...

I had a similar fault, intermittent and various bulbs. I spent ages cleaning terminals, changing bulbs etc. The light cluster was in and out of the car like a fiddlers elbow. Despite all that time and effort the fault remained.
Then I bought a new bulb holder unit from the dealer for £35 ish IIRC. Fitted in five minutes, problem went away!

New holder was my next solution but twisting the earth pin helped the most for me as it has better contact and doesn't burn the connector. We will see how long will it last ...

Thanks guys. I have looked at the terminals and none corroded I even cleaned the tips of the bulbs to make connection better. Pulled up the tab the bulb sits on to make it tighter. worked ok for a day then started to fail again. I haven't tried the earth thing yet but was thinking just get a new bulb holder. I know a picture was posted of the earth cable by niedzial1983 but cant really see it clearly and not knowing anything about cars or cars electrics I wouldn't know where to start with earth cables lol.
