    Just had a look into this: 'Millions' of Volkswagen cars can be unlocked via hack - BBC News

    From what I can see, the Q7 4M is not affected as cars based on the MLB platform are not vulnerable.

    I thought it was the MQB cars that were safe (so TT, A3, Golf, etc) I've not seen any reports suggesting the same for the MLB range

    It requires a bit of technical ability and most of the cars it covers aren't worth that much since it's mostly older models. I'm not going to lose sleep over it.

    Worth is relative to a lot of people so although I'm sure you're secure, it might be a concern to those it affects.
