    Hi all,

Yesterday I took delivery of my first new A6 sline (silver) - she is a beauty.

I put the order in around the 20th May and wasn’t expecting delivery until mid August. Audi Slough have been very good with communication and delivery.

Anyway the mirrors don’t fold when locking the car, is it possible to program them to auto fold when I lock the car? I tried the user manual but the mirror option doesn’t appear under car/system/central locking.
Am able to fold the mirrors electronically with the mirror switch on the door.

    Thanks.

If it is the new 2016 s-line spec, with electric/memory seats, and heating (that were both options in the 2015 FL) then you should have folding mirror options.
The SE does not have this upgrade as standard.

Do you have a folding symbol at 6 o'clock on mirror switch on the door?

    Thanks for the reply.

Yes I have the folding symbol on the mirror switch and it folds the mirrors when I press it.

I also have the memory seats which are working fine.

The option should be there somewhere to fold when locking.

I have that setup and it works fine, and from memory the switch is left on one of the mirror adjustments, rather than fold.
Can't recall where in the menus turns it on, but have a look around all of the car systems, it may not be part of central locking.

I also took delivery of my new A6 yesterday. By default the mirrors were not folding when locking. I had to go into the car menu and select this option. Also for the passenger mirror to tilt I had to programme this in. There is quite a good youtube video that showed you how to do this. The manual that came with the car does not really explain any of this well.

The folding mirrors were just a tick box within the car menu. I'm not at the car, will post a picture tonight if you have not figured out yet.

The tilting is easy though. Start car, put in reverse gear. Adjust passenger mirror as you want it to be tilted. Leave the mirror switch on the passenger side setting, do not move it to the centre heating position. Then simlpy drive off forward and when you get up to speed the miror will move back to previous position and will tilt back when putting car in reverse. Hope that makes sense. Can link to youtube when I'm back on the pc tonight.

For me, this submenu seems very odd. It's something like a totally truncated menu This menu should look something like this, or at least this is how it looks on a non FL version:
