    Every time I see a seat 9 out 10 it has an fr badge on it and really don't get it. Vw don't make all of their cars gti ford don't make all of their cars rs haha

    And as far as I know, FR is more a trim level as opposed to a performance model?

    The performance models, again afaik, are badged as Cupra, which you see far less of.

    It's kind of a hybrid between a trim level and a performance version. You only get certain engine combinations if you choose the FR models 1.4EcoTSI and 1.8 TSI 180.
