Temp Gauge

Bought a new temp sensor this morning from audi, But the gauge is still not going above 50 degrees.

Any ideas on what else to check? (Thermostat has been done already)

Have you checked the temp with VCDS?

Worth a bit of research but try the following thoughts.
One of my previous Audis, cant remember which one, had two coolant temp sensors.
One on block, talks to ecu and stat etc
One on bottom hose at rad outlet talks to fans and GAUGE
Might have that the wrong way round and I think it was a 1'8t petrol 2001 AVJ
