Anyone in Sth London or Surrey with Biturbo fancy trying a kufatec sound booster?

Well I think I have the answer to my woes. Today Kufatec Germany replyed to one of my emails and told me that I have the wrong Audi control unit, I should have 4G090716B. I thought this could not be the case becouse mine was supplied by Audi but tonight I checked the VCDS scan i did of Len's Bi-turbo and found it is fitted with part number 4G0907160B where as my part number is 4G0071953A.

What I think has happened is that Audi has developed this retrofit system that works without any coding straight out of the box but the Kufatec module is developed for the Bi-turbo that has various additional coding.
Kufatec gave me their fitting instructions today and I have completed the coding which adds the additional option for active sound into the drive select menu. It has made a slight differance to my car already but I now need to get the other control module and I should be in business.

Just a quick update, I spoke with Audi and was told that a new ECU was £212.00 and I was not allowed to return the other one as it was concise red an accessory and non refundable. I have since spoken with kufatec and they do an ECU update service for various ECU's at a cost of €29.00 so I have sent it off today.

Well I have had my ECU reprogramed and sent back to me. I fitted it yesterday and its now working great so i'm very happy with this.

I still have one question to ask anyone with this soundbooster pro fitted. How does the active start work as I cannot get it working, even when we pluged my unit into Len's Biturbo it didn't work.
Does anyone know what I may be doing wrong?
