    Hi All,

I'm going to attempt to clay detail the car but not sure of what kit/product to use, I have Autoglym products for all other aspects of cleaning the car (shampoo/polish/wax) however not sure about the AG clay kit, is it enough to cover an A7?

any other product tips would be appreciated

    Cheers,
Audi A7 (2012), Black Edition 245 PS Tiptronic, Phantom Black

    Hi
you don't really need much clay to do the whole car
as long as car is clean and keep turning folding and rekneading the clay to get a clean bit
just make sure you keep the clay well lubed most clay company do there own clay inc auto gym and you use there quick detailer to lube the clay

to be honest there is not much between clay from company to company but there is soft mid and hard clay
medium and soft is a better all rounder as such as the clay is easy to use in summer or winter
plus soft is good for light contaminated paintwork and med for mid contaminated

megs is is a good clay

and blit hamber you can tube with water

your get a feel for the clay if it glides smooth all is ok if start to tug clay is either full of dirt or need relubing

just make ale sure to keep the clay clean and if you drop the clay on the ground throw it away

I use the autoglym clay kit and it's more than enough to do the A7, I get 2-3 full cars out of the single kit.
