Hi everyone, need some help to fix a problem I have with my Touran 2004 1.6 Fsi. I have an intermittent loss of power where there seams to be no throttle response. After using a code reader I get the following faults P0191 fuel rail pressure signal implausible. and sometimes Cylinder 3 torque difference. I have use the tester to grapf the low and high fuel pressure sensors and found no problems with the low side but the high pressure side drops to 49 Bar when the fault occurs. The strange thing is that both the specified and actual rail pressures fall, so the ECU is not requesting a higher pressure! Accelerator sensor show ok. Anyone have any ideas or can tell me what the ecu does when accelerator pedal is pressed?
Thanks.
