2.5 AKE allroad looses power

Thanks for the help guys, a good on the road support crew

home now, allroad pulled flawlessly on way back, (I wasn't nervous coming home one bit!!! )

it was definitely was lack of air for that moment, the car had been basically sitting at 1500 revs for 3.5 hours cruising on the motor way under very heavy load, then at no point did I accelerate when i stopped into services, it was only when I tried to accelerate back onto motorway, after the stop, I had no pulling power, the revving on hard shoulder must have helped it and full turbo variable vane motion was back, exhaust was very, very sooty everytime I stopped after a long run, I revved it each stop, and drove home 575miles no problems.

now car is unloaded now it pulls just as it used to, will monitor it but some good fuel into it and a good few blasts it should be fine,

anyone every stripped and cleaned a turbo? im keen to take it apart at some point, I like to know whats in there, any DIY how too's?

Yes, certenly have a couple of these ( in molecules ofcourse ) Can post some pics later if needed.
