Last March i got an additional immo installed. After that sometimes it might have generated some faults in more moduls when i jumped out of car for a while with immobiliser's card in pocket and engine was running. However sometimes i tried or succeded to clear the fault codes although maybe not right after they were generated. Around may-june i got first time the same malfunction message as seen on first page. At first no other symphtom then loss of power and engine even stopped for some minutes. A repairer found no special code and thought it might be due to lower voltage of battery (11,7V that time). Then there was no malfunction message till december when it again stopped some times but restarted then didn't start at all at the end in cold weather. I thought at first it's due to the battery of car as i even saw 11,2V somewhere in VCDS. I changed battery to new one but still not started when i realised that the battery of the immo card also died therefore i switched off immo and engine ran. Some fault codes might have remained although i tried to clear. Went on a tour and gearbox malfanction message appeared again while changed gear more times, lost power and sometimes stopped. Then i got new battery for immo, i switched it on then succeded to clear codes in "02 autotrans". Since then i haven't driven a lot. Do you think my malfunction message was generated due to the immo and solved now if it doesn't make new codes or the problem can remain and i can expect more messages?

I got the additional immobiliser uninstalled but the gearbox malfunction message still remains. I was even at an audi service and they say the problem they also detected is the selector lever sensor and a "pressure regulator valve" (i don't know if it equals to "valve for transmission fluid cooler" as per the code below. I'm confused as they said separate prices to these items but an other mechaniker was speaking about a kind of panel that costs ca 500 eur and includes both items acc. to him. But if the change doesn't eliminate the problem then the change of the electronics should solve the issue. That costs ca. 2500 eur. What do you recommend to do? Should i maybe rather buy a complete used gearbox for ca. 1000 eur? I want to sell the car so the cheapest solution i'd prefer but this problem should be solved on the other hand. Thanks for your help.

does anyone know what kind of clutch the s-tronic has?

Is it an actual dual dry clutch mechanism operated by electronics or is it some kind of oil based wet clutch?
