    Update.... just before I destroyed my wallet with buying a new rack I decided to change a sensor on my back wheel at the same time then finding the hub was knackered so I changed that too seeing as the wheel was off after putting it all back together to my amazement the steering wheel light came off good times..👍

    That is a common PQ35 platform problem, the ABS transducer ring is magnetic and iron rusts so the ring gets undermined, it then expands and starts grinding into the ABS senor which damages it, we keep both sizes of wheel bearing and the sensors in stock because we have to do so many.

    OK well it was a supposed vag specialist that after having the car 2 days said it needs a new steering rack

    I know I paid £300 for them not to sort the problem and give wrong diagnosis and the job was done elsewhere for 60
