Intake manifold flap issue Passat B6 58 plate 2.0 tdi CR DPF 140PS

Hi I have the same issue as you with the 2009 short circuit fault mine even sparked today when it made contact!
Can you tell me did a new motor fix the issue?

Wow, didn't realise it had been so long since I posted this! I'm a little embarrassed to admit but that motor is still sat wrapped in the electricians tape and working fine! I've never had any issues with it since so I never bothered to replace it.

Fair play glad it’s still working ok, I’ve odered a new motor and a bracket to stop it over rotating so fingers crossed that sorts it.

I did order the bracket too, it was well made and easy to fit!
