    Default B5.5 Auto non-tip trans code question – 25-06-2016,09:36 PM
    I've picked up a 2005 Passat 5.5 1.9Tdi auto with a bad non-tip trans - code EPV. I've found a trans that I think looks right and is a non-tip 1.9tdi, from a 2004 but the guy didn't really understand or know what I meant about getting the code off it, doesn't have the car so can't check the tag - he thinks it's a BRP, but I can't really find any info on that.

    Anybody help? Is that a real trans code and would it work?

    This is my first post to this forum so of I've done it wrong or in the wrong spot I apologise.
