The mountain section of the track is well worth a drive; even in the car and near half the pace of the bikes its a great road.

I used to take the bike for a week during practice week, great fun, stayed in Douglas, Drank in the Tramshunter's and Bushey's Bar (now gone) use to wait for practice to end and the roads to reopen then ranted it over the course. Hilarious much!! Favorite section? The waterworks and up through Bungalow, most fun? Kate's cottage and the drop down to the Creg'.

Well guy's I was there in the 1960s as a boy holidaying with my gran, seen some practice sessions and not really bothered at all since because I'm not really into bikes that much,however I watched this last year's races on itv4 and wow incredible spectacle,unbelievable speed well worth a watch on youtube,sorts the men from the boy's.

Yes he will this year after a short break, with mcguiness I believe.
