Good Friday trip to IKEA this afternoon ended on a sorry note when some idiot bumped into my prized possession in the car park. The damage : Front side passenger bumper has a dent and scratches. IMG_1506.JPGIMG_1507.JPG

Any ideas how to go about getting this repaired? I was thinking chips away or similar....
I am hoping it's not a big job

    Thanks

Well i don't know who actually did it as when I went back to the car post shopping that's when I discovered. I did see a large van parked next to my car but not entirely sure if the van driver is the culprit. I took a picture of the Van to see traces of white colour.IMG_1498.JPGIMG_1504.JPG

Ok well that's a shame pal. I hate it when this happen.

Back to the bumper, looks like it has dented the plastic so me personally I would recommend taking it to a proper spray shop

So annoying. Feel for you mate. Had that happen a few times hence why got the dash cam with parking mode.

I can't recall ever having a bumper repaired but mine have all been cracked.

Don't go to chips away... they can be really really bad. My husband got his bonnet repaired by them and it was horrendous. We went to a local car repair centre that my dad uses and he was so much better - but he als showed us photos of a brand new white Lexus that chips away had repaired and it was the most awful job ever. That was arranged through Lexus as well, so they had to pay for the repairs of the chips away repair. Definitely try and find an Audi approved place or a really good local repair centre.

Sorry should also have said someone hit the front of my white car with their black car at low speed.. bumper looked just like this and most of it polished out and bent back into shape. So hopefully won't be too bad for you.
