Q7 4M Software Update

The update could be relation to PreSense as that was imminent I was told last week..

With regards data sim...my original car did this - frustrating as heck and seemed to start after the January software update. Some days it's was absolutely fine and others just kept dropping

Does the passenger airbag light lits up when it is off/on?
I keep getting a message that it is on although nobody sits there! unless there is a gremlin or something.

Also I had issues with right side mirror not able to adjust it! Restart if the engine "fixed" the bloody thing

Same happened to me today. Tried all door handles and nothing. Then checked my nails and tried again still nothing.
Thankfully the unlock button saved the day!

Mine does this occasionally but so did the BMW before. Perhaps need to moisturise more often?

When it works...the Q7 is an unbeatable car...just a shame it's littered with so many issues, some tiny some not so tiny and very hit and miss.

Was just wondering if any software related faults as are being discussed here are covered as part of the FREE AUDI DIAGNOSTIC checks within the Audi Warranty itself,

I ready somewhere you get ONE? free warranty related diagnostic check PER YEAR if it is part of a warranty issue. couldn't find much on the owner's area on the Audi Web site. Had read somewhere it's one free warranty check per year which doesn't make sense either.. ?

rather peed off
just picked me car up service guy said updates been done
all updates are mainly to do with train times airport destination etc
there is a map update but got an email today saying about updates
also said Audi connect lock your car sos and emergency call

but and big But

software vershion and all codes etc are the same so can't see there been any updates

so can see there been any update surly the software vershion wouldn't be the same?
i question the service guy and he said the update went through and he got the paperwork to prove this
then he said unless you already had the latest software hmmmm

i checked the train times at my local Ipswich station and the times seem to be an hour ahead so can't see a fix

will check tomorrow I did do a map update though

im on Apple iPhone and not got any app update yet was hopping to try the lock door as ment to be added but don't think it will work

hope other ppl can update if there software number changes

Strange... My dealer has told me there is an update for my car too. Yours though doesn't look any different.

I got a general marketing email about map updates and there is a 2017 map update available. Pic in this post. I haven't done it yet though.

If train times aren't fixed then I'm not convinced they did the update.

Go to another dealer and get them to do it.

Mine went in today to fix the microphone (they didn't fix it ) and they said no update for mine on 0442. Will check again when it goes back...
