I assume not, but thought I'd ask because if it did there could be a route there that means its just datasets and coding.

Otherwise, yes, you need different LED modules in trim strips that light up to support the full colour spectrum (and that is also extra wires).
Mine is single colour only, irrespective of driving mode. I've not seen any setting in MMI that suggests different colours are available.

It's possible that Audi fit the same LED strip in all specs and code for it to be single colour. But if single-colour strips are cheaper to buy that multi-colour, Audi's bean-counters will have gone the single colour route.

I'll be calling Southampton Audi today, as they're price-matching on tyres; I'll ask about an upgrade quote to multi-colour.

ok, then yes, the LED modules behind that strip are physically different. You have just a single colour (white) one, and the multi colour ones are different LED's entirely. It can be done (it has been done). You then need to parameterise your module to update them to include the colour palette info too.

Hello, does anyone have the security access code for A5 adaptation? I’ve tried 20103 and it isn’t working. I am currently locked out for 30 minutes. Trying to finish up the adaptation for Active Lane Assist. TIA

    Did you try 20113?

    Hi all,

It seems, that I will replace my A6/C7 with a nonFL Q7 soon. I've just read the entire topic, and currently I have a doubt: am I right, that currently the Obdeleven is the best solution to make the tips and tricks? It seems to me, that the VIM in itself requires this tool, while no other trick requires any other coding device.

    Am I right on this?

Also, am'I understand well, that if I will do the coding referred in this section on my own, than I will not need any credit?

Thanks in advance for your help!

    Welcome!

This is probably the cheapest option and most user friendly for casual coders. I have been able to do all the changes I wanted to do with it and without credits.

    I didn’t try VIM though.

    Hello.
Just beware that VIM works on models with software version up to 975 (or thereabouts).
If you get the car with newer software then the VIM will not work. The guys at OBD11 are still apparently working on the fix but thus far they had no luck.
I know because I used to have 16 reg Q7 and VIM worked but when I changed to SQ7 in may 2018 (software version 1107, I think) it didn't.
And it still does not work.
    Hope this helps...

Agree with srb here - however I have used credits for a couple of the things as it was literally a click of the button. You get 5 free credits daily by opening the app and watching 4x30 second adverts.

I think I have something like 2000 credits but haven’t opened the app in ages.
