I guess it should be a bit on each control unit.
Check Byte 4, Bits 1,2 and 3 mate... in each Door controller (42 and 52)

Also, something is needed in 06 and 36 I recall

Hi all, i own a Q7 2016, i want to put on it climatronic instead of simple climate control i already have currently. Is there a way to code by ODIS myself or it should be coded online only?
    All the best.

You mean you had the dual zone clima unit and you bought the 4 zone clima unit?

Your missing tubes under the carpet, fans, sensors and all sorts. Not just the front unit.

You need to also swap the rear seat unit too and that needs an extra loom.

The front also needs a 3rd connector and wiring loom and you need to remove Component Protection too.

I don’t think anyone did this retrofit before. Plus the vents from the side pillars.
What I’m curious if it’s possible to retrofit the climate control panel for the 3/4 zones to the stands 2 zones without having obvious errors. I would do this retrofit since the control unit from the 3/4 zones looks way nicer.

Hi , thnks for your replies. I sent a car and passed component protection with ODIS online account but unlucky. Panel is activated but can not control the blowing , temperature etc. Half is blowing hot half cold. So i decided to return factory dual zone control. 4 zone panel looks much more better but it was impossible to adapt it.

You are more than likely right, but in the UK its all enabled as standard which is why I dont think we picked up on these extra adaptation channel changes

At the most though you should only need to active these 2:

    Car_Function_Adaptations_Gen2-menu_display_seat_configuration
    Car_Function_Adaptations_Gen2-menu_display_seat_configuration_over_threshold_hig h

    Not the other 3.

    Thanks for sharing

    Andy
    Hello,

I also checked those adaptation and it was all set to enable, but still get no easy entry funciton (I am trying to code my seats without any memory funcition on the car eather on driver or passenger side).

Hope there is an option to enable it on my car, since easy entry function lika already said randomly works on the passenger side (some times it is not working at all, some times the seat only comes back, but not return to the original position, sometimes it works like it should, going back and returning to the original position).

    Have a great day.

Hello all & thanks Andy for the thread.

I have a 2019 Touareg III running on the same MLBevo platform in Australia , and have hit the same brick wall regarding TSR (VZA) enablement using only VCDS with HEX-NET.
I am going to invest in a VCP now to do the parameterisation of the A5 camera.

Some successful coding I have done so far as follow, which may be of interest to some?

    Module Byte Bit Desc Result
    09 Cent. Elect. 02 02 drl_break_active DRL's switch off when in P & Elec. brake on
09 Cent. Elect. 02 03 sl_at_drl,active Rear tails on with DRL
46 Central Conv. 21 05 high brake light to indicate virtual pedal trigger (emergency braking) also momentery on with foot gesture boot opening
5F Information Electr. 23 01 Initial disclaimer _on switch off "nag screen" …..please follow traffic regulations at all times.
