    Great work Andy, this is definitely a plus if you have adults/older kids and children in the back.

    I took delivery of my Q7 with more than 100km on the clock as it was put in service a few months back and had been driven by some execs, so can't change this but just more out of curiosity...

    If one were to mod this, could one mod it back and forth if the initial change was done prior to 100km?

    You can mod it "back and forth" while the car is under 100Km, but as soon as it crosses that mark, then whatever the last setting was applied will then stick permanently.

    Hey Andy et al.,

    Wondering about two that I tried and looked around (based on 2014 Q5 coding), but can’t seem to figure out.

    1. Disable winking of DRL on turn signal.

    2. Start in ADS mode from shutdown, i.e. if in dynamic mode when starting car transmission will be in ‘S’. If in auto will start in ‘D’.

    Hi

    Is it possible to change the ambient light colours for the different driving modes so that when you choose interior lighting based on driving mode it will have other colours than the default ones?

    Would be nice to have:

    lift / offroad = yellow
    allroad = pink
    efficiency = green
    comfort = white
    auto = blue
    dynamic = red

    Thanks

    I think DRL Winking can be done via ODBeleven "app" which means its just a basic coding change somewhere in Module 09 if I recall. I know I havent posted anything on first page about this, but I'm sure its in this thread somewhere.

    Not sure on number 2, sorry.

    Would this require different colour LEDs to be fitted? If so, it might be that factory-fit is only a single-colour strip unless specified.

    Good question actually. Question: If you dont have full multi-colour Ambient lighting does changing the drive select modes change the standard "white" colour to different ones as you flick through the different Drive Select modes (auto/comfort/dynamic etc)? I assume not, but thought I'd ask because if it did there could be a route there that means its just datasets and coding.

    Otherwise, yes, you need different LED modules in trim strips that light up to support the full colour spectrum (and that is also extra wires).
