Double confirmed. That is not worth the damage. I set mine 1 degree higher and it's noticeable and warm enough for me.

    Andy,

Don't know if you've seen this one. In OBD11, Module 36/Seat Adjustment Driver Side >Long Coding, I change easy_entry_front and easy_entry_fond from Not Active to Active. Now my seat slides back a bit when I open the driver door. I have no idea what the "fond" bit means or whether it was necessary to make this change.

Great spot Rick, can't see I saw that one yet... Do you have memory seats on the drivers side too? Does the seat move back to its original position once you get in/out or something like that?

Looking through the guides, the "easy entry" on the seats only worked (apparently!) if you had the electric steering column. do you have that?

    Thanks

    Andy

I have a Prestige trim, so I have electric seats with memory and the electric steering column, but not the Luxury Pkg seats. The steering column always moved up when getting out before this change, but not the seat.

I think the seat moves back to the original position when you turn on the ignition.

What "guides" are you referring to?

Ah ok. Here in the UK the Electric Steering Column is a single optional extra which is quite rare.

My understanding is the "easy entry/exit" drivers seat only works if you have electric steering column (as its that that drives the seat module to move back) which makes sense as you have it.

I do think a couple of UK folk did plump up for the Electric Steering Column though...

Guides are my internal Audi technical ones...

I think I've found a way to effectively disable auto start/stop:

In OBDeleven, Module 08/Air Conditioning > Adaptation > A/C_comfort_paramter_for_start/stop_function: change default value of 5 to 0 (zero).

After making this change and driving for a day, it seems as though start/stop would not engage under circumstances when it normally would. It would always display the white A in a circle with a slash icon.

If I turned the HVAC all the way off, and also turned off seat heat and ventilation, then the start/stop would engage for a split second and then immediately re-start the engine. As long as the HVAC was on, it would not engage at all.

I have to play with it some more. I want to try a value like 2 or 3, and maybe 10 to see what the effect is.

    Hi Andy,

Want to add some info on second phone coding:

IDE03471-ENG125046-Vehicle configuration-Phone_module_operation_mode - mode of phone modem (data only / data&phone) - in Russian version switched to data mode only. This provide to use sim slot as full phone. I tested - it worked in both ways

IDE03471-ENG125042-Vehicle configuration-Support_of_threeway_calling - is threeway conference mode between prim. and sec. phone (not tested yet) (it can switched in mmi menu).

IDE03471-ENG125044-Vehicle configuration-Support_for_response_and_hold - not sure but may be allow hold phone call?

    Thanks Safar,

Yep, we have tested those and the 3 way calling (at least on UK cars) doesnt work. Let us know if you get any luck. We get the option in MMI but that is all.

My "IDE03471-ENG125046-Vehicle configuration-Phone_module_operation_mode" is set to "Data & language service active" by default (UK car)
When we enabled response and hold it caused errors in module 5f I believe.

Test though and let us know!

    Thanks for sharing!

Hey Rick, thats a great find

VCP have now released a Guided Function to disable Start/Stop permanently but we are trying to find out what they are doing to do that. Start/Stop can be "tricked" if you can keep 12v constantly supplied (via Coding) I've heard. Just not had time to test to be honest.

Be great if you manage to uncover further values. Thanks for sharing!!
