STill working on that closing boot stuff Wolek.. its just finding the time!

Ironically no, I have 2 ODBEleven devices and neither connect to my phone for some reason (but show up as a bluetooth device and I can pair it). I want to remove VIM for my TV Tuner!
Hi Andy. That's very odd that you cannot connect. In my case it worked straight out of the box.
Not telling you "how to do things" but perhaps have a look here:
[V5] ProBoards - Free Forums & Free Message Boards
Someone seems to have found a workaround.
BTW, what phone have you got?

Thanks for this Andy. OBDEleven arrived today and was able to enable the CD Rip to Jukebox very easily with this info. Was impressed how quickly it does it, much quicker than the old X5.

Also enabled he needle sweep but couldn't do the ACC distance. It accepted the security code but wouldn't let me access Adaption, it just errors.

Thanks for the info Srbsq7... appreciate it

Weird why it didnt work. Not sure if anyone else has done the ACC option with ODBEleven? Anyone?

It definitely works with VCP or VCDS.. thats how I did mine.

It rang a bell and I checked on Audiworld and someone else reported the same issue.

Main one I wanted was the CD ripping so happy for now.

I've figured out how to do screen shots on my new Samsung tablet so will post some example pics for anyone else considering the OBDEleven.

    Used my ODBeleven

I found the connection a bit flakey - needed to restart a couple of times. But once i got the hang of what I was doing I changed the needle sweep ...... GREAT!!

Will try some other changes this weekend

Applied the lap timer setting today. I think for anyone with the HUD it's quite good for those times when you want to put it into manual, as you can see what gear you're in.

I thought the lap timer just gave you a stopwatch on the dash? Can you choose this on the HUD settings now then?

On the dash you get the lap timer, but in the HUD you get a new format that includes MPH, Oil temp and gear selection - the timer is also there but doesn't actually run so stays at 00:00:000.

To get this to appear in the HUD, you need to start the lap time and drive off and the display changes. The downside is you lose the Sat Nav info on the HUD but as soon as you stop the lap timer, the HUD changes back to normal .
