So I have a volkswagen jetta 2.5, that I just purchased about a week ago. Everything was fine except the temp hand, he had no colant in it, but still worked fine to get it home. I took it to a friend and he put coolant in it and said it was airlocked so he got all that fixed for me. I took it home and it has sat for a couple days.

I went to start it up today and I have 3 lights on which are the EPC, check engine, and battery lights. The car wont do anything when I turn the key to start it, the lights are on, radio is on, dashboard lights are on, but it wont crank or anything.

I am hoping this is a quick fix as I don't have a whole lot of money to be spending at this moment. Are there some simple things I can test out to see if it's anything cheap. (I have very little knowledge about cars and such, so like a youtube link or step by step would be great.)
