Interior Lights Stay on in Audi A6 Avant

Hi Guys,

Hopefully someone can help... I'm blaming this on my wife, as she was last pressing all the buttons.... :-)

The interior lights in my 2002 Audi A6 are permanently stuck on with the switch in the central (door open) position.

They do turn off if I switch them off completely (don't come on when door is open). And will turn on even brighter if I switch them on manually.

This was fine before... Does anyone have any ideas?

No, I did consider this problem and was also thinking about phoning round for priests (see the other thread) if it started to get weirder.

In any case, I've just been back to the car and it's working fine now...
