The world will be in uproar when they notice a subliminal political message via Chris Evans' Rolls Royce Corniche's number plate being BRX 522T, a clear reference to Brexit. Another number plate scandal on Top Gear - must be pre-planned, there's no way it was a coincidence. Evans should be removed immediately and replaced!

I am surprised to find that I have enjoyed much of the new series. Sure it's a copy of the old format but it is entertaining.

Boris would be an awesome host of Top Gear, as the comedy element. 100% better than he'd be as Tory Leader or God forbid PM!!

I actually also enjoy the new Top Gear Martin. I can take or leave Chris Evans, he doesn't IRL me like he does some others, with his shouting, but he's OK. I think Matt LeBlanc is actually quite amusing. I could do without the extremely annoying Chris Harris, or whatever his name is. What an annoying pillock. Yes, he may know his motors, but he's just down right annoying.

great news about evans, but the damage is done, that matt leplonker is awful and i just cant watch it. i havnt tuned into this new series at all, ever , and i wont now.

It would be nice to have the trio back on top gear...
I don't think the bbc could afford them now.
Maybe a few nice top gear comeback specials or a Xmas special.
