The Grand Tour Christmas special (Finland) is on Amazon Prime at 00:01 this Friday It’s been a success IMHO. Nothing revolutionary… just a (much needed) refresh with the same shenanigans and larger budget. From last week’s episode it looks like they might have dropped “The American” too which was one of the few weak points. It’s a shame they force the unfunny persona on Mike Skinner who seems quite witty in real life. Might be due to legal restraints with the BBC, but it’s basically the foreign stig joke… every week… from the same country.

Not sure if they even considered a special for the new TG, but any plans would have been swiftly binned after the ratings came out.

I'm well behind on the new series, but have been really enjoying it.
Just saw the episode tonight where they are in south africa... with Eddie Jordan, Charlene Spiteri , Timy Tempah and Sea Stick Steve.
The south african countryside is stunning, and that Charlene Spit eri is very easy on the eye. Wouldn't mind being stuck in the bush with her.
