How long?

Just checked my 'your audi' and it's saying that my car has moved onto stage 3- preparation.does anyone know from previous experience how long roughly it will be from here until I get the car? Build week is 23?

Week 23 is next week. It takes approximately 4 weeks from when your car built to delivery, so assume first week of July. May be sooner especially if it is built at the start of the week rather than the end

Hi Edd,

How long did it take from your order placement until you received your 'youraudi' reference. Reason I ask is that I ordered my wife an A1 2 weeks ago and haven't received anything yet. Was told 2nd week of July delivery which was extended to Mid August a few days ago.

When the dealership emailed me the order confirmation I took the order number from their email and used that to log on,

my build of the A6 was actually pretty quick and shipped to the UK within days of the car being passed through quality control etc.

The delay was at the UK side - it sat in some storage yard at the shipping dock for 13 days.... I chased the Audi dealership but they said that this stage it was down to the transporter company to deliver it from dock to garage within 14 days...

I guess it's a bit of luck if you car arrives just as a transporter is booked to pick up the cars to the garage, or if you have to wait until the next cycle around.

How long did it take from order to you receiving the order number for the system? I'm a little worried that as it's near the end of the month the dealership is holding back ordering until the beginning of June as they have sold May's allocation, hence the delay.
