Do you know if there is a list of commands available? When we test drove the XC90, you could say "I'm cold" and it would up the temperature.

Theres a load of pages showing all the commands you can say in the Manual I think ? (I'd need to double check that unless anyone knows more?)

Yes, the owner manual list all the voice commands. But you cannot communicate with HVAC in Q7 thought voice command.

Not sure if this is really a find, but I found that if you have Head Up Display and you have the Sat Nav running to a destination (Audi Sat Nav, not Apple/Android maps) if you turn the HUD off by pressing the silver rotary knob once and then press it on again the HUD will come back on and show the last direction arrow in the HUD for a few seconds.

You know if your on a long road for a bit the sat nav symbols disappear from the HUD until your nearing the next junction/turn/whatever, well this makes the current direction re-appear briefly...

A new one for me this weekend; having parked and had auto-engine-off, turning the wheel re-started the engine. Rather surprised me when that happened.

Yes anything like that will restart same as air con low batt turn head lights on etc
and same goes why it won't always stop due to same as above
the thing that surprises me though if I'm sat in traffic or at traffic lights when they go green the car starts up and same if traffic moves lol

I only found that out a few weeks ago. Someone mentioned it on Audiworld and I thought that was US only, but sure enough when I applied a bit more pressure it came on.

I got caught in slow moving traffic today and happened to have active lane assist enabled so traffic jam assist kicked in. I hadn't noticed this before, but unlike active lane assist which requires steering wheel feedback every 15 seconds or so, with TJA it seems to be 55 seconds.

Doesn't seem like much but seemed like ages without having to take control when doing between 15 and 30 mph. What I didn't check is whether the timer resets every time in senses your hands on the wheel.

I read yesterday that the new A8 will have Level 3 autonomy for traffic jam assist, so you can completely take your eyes off the road, but must be ready to take control with 8 seconds notice.

I was driving mine with traffic assist and the warning wet off to put hands back on the wheel but didn't

one thing I didn't know was after a few sec of warning going off the car applied the breaks and the car behind nearly hit me good job I was only going about 5MPH in road works

Interesting! I didn't think the Q7 came to a stop. Might have to do a test somewhere safe
