So umm well I learnt something new today...after over 3yrs ownership

I know we have spoken about it before on the forum but I could never make it work so thought it was for cars with Adv Key only...

Well you can actually close the boot from the inside of the car using the button you open the boot with in the drivers door and you don’t need Adv Key

Better still the car actually makes a beeping sound as it closes...

I’m so proud of finally learning how to do this

Basically even though I know you all know how it’s done but...the ignition must be on for it to work, but press and hold the boot button /switch backwards (as you would press it to open the boot but hold it in place) and then it’ll beep away and happily close again

    Not sure if already posted...

When you drive in speeds that the gearbox eco-roll is active and the car is coasting, you can put the gear back again without need to touch the break pedal.

Just press the DOWN Paddle Shift on the steering.

Good way to save same idle fuel and brakes, if you know you will need to loose speed.

Similar to the previous post, apologies if posted. When running a certain speed to be in 8th gear, press the + paddle and it puts it out of gear into coasting mode manually until you go back to any of the pedals.

Sorry, if it's not the right thread, but I thought it worth to share it here.

I've just received an update from OBDeleven, which included the long coding ability for IOS. Today I tried it, and I was extraimly surprised, as the long coding and adaptation works almost the same as the widgets. By these options I was able to add the seat symmetry and the moving the passanger seat with the driver seat's buttons with a single tick and an acceptance movement.

However, that was not the only surprise. I found, that there are a huge (I mean an incredible lot) settings there which were never mentioned here. I think, it could be an interesting thing, if a for professional or a more advanced member could check these options, as probably we can add more features to our beauties with this help.

Super information. Which new options did you find in updated OBDeleven?

I found several "motor" options in the "seats" section, which ones I've never seen before, also found that the mirror's options can be set individually, just like "heating mirrors", "mirror tilt", "automatic mirrors". This is just an example, as I'm not kidding, there are hundreds of settings options there. I was even able to add the rear seat memory(!) options, the easy entry for the rear seats - which ones I don't have at all -, so I'm sure there are several new options there. However there are several "code names" there like car build for EU, and some three letter codes, so I was not sure it's a good idea to change this. I was even surprised that I can change the wheel side to left or right hand side, so therefore I thought, a professional should look at these possibilities.

So I continued to read the new possibilites of OBDeleven and found several interesting things. Hereby I send these as I have no idea about these, however I could be really interested in these:

Just a memo: I found the "comfort side view" option, but even I have both memory seats, it was not available for me.

Thanks for sharing AT, interesting on some , for example "Intelligent ParkAssist" - which if I'm assuming means "Self Parking" then you can't just activate it in coding and it works.. you need 4 more physical parking sensors installed too!

Thanks for sharing - great info

In new Q7 and Q8 you can't have "Self Parking" and 360 degree cameras. Unfortunately you can order one or the other. As I was told there is a conflict of these 2 systems. I was also discussing this topic with Kufatec technicians (they have a retrofit kit of Self Parking including additional 4 sensors) and they told that they also don't know how to connect these 2 systems in new models.

The strange thing is, that I have the self parking, so it's something upon this. I'm not so brave to try it, but I was wondering what this option can be.
