    Hi everyone,
I have just bought a tailgate dog guard for my 2009 avant and wanted to know if the boot lights (in the tailgate) can be turned off so that I can leave the boot open and the lights dont drain my battery?

They will go off after a certain period of time, or just remove the light fitting or bulb.
