Gateway lite or lite bt

Hi all

Im looking into fitting a dension gateway interface for my a3 with the bns 5.0 head unit after reading the reviews and guides on here. I was wondering what other people's experiences were regarding Bluetooth option? Is it worth spending the extra for a Bluetooth compatible version or will the phone have to be plugged in most of the time anyway to preserve the battery?

any thoughts or opinions greatly received

I would go for the BT version personally (I have the Pro BT) - but then I have the multi function steering wheel and that makes it a lot easier to use. I just leave bluetooth on all the time as I forget otherwise; doesn't have a massive drain on the battery.
