    Hi all,

on my sisters 2005 a3 2.0tdi she was going along the motorway and it completely cut out on her have plugged in with a delphi clone and have p0101 and p0299 coming up when the engine is revged up you can hear a hiss i took of the pipe after the air filter and sprayed brake and clutch cleaner about and the engine revved up but im not sure if the air intake might have just sucked it in, the car is gutless and chucks out black smoke when going up hill its especially noticed, was thinking could be a vac pipe or turbo or egr problem does anybody know which is most likely and how to rule out each of them thanks in advance charlie

P0101 maf or pipes loose or wires, also check airfilter.

    Po299 pipes, turbo, actuator valve.

Personal I would be checking the maf and wires and having a good look at the pipes, because black smoke and down power is a charistic.

Black smoke rich fuel mix due to maf issue

A hiss when revved, turbo boost leak. Anywhere in hoses to intercooler from the turbo back to the inlet manifold.....check.
