I have a totally stock B5, apart from a boost gauge. I seem to be getting 10-12 psi, which I think is about right?
I've heard that a decat will free up quite a few ponies. Somewhere around 10bhp.
I have found some for mine, which seem to go for £150-£200!
However, I have found someone selling new ones on eBay for £70 for the B6. Will they fit? If not. Can they be easily modified to fit?
I also want a full system, but they are very expensive, so I'm looking for a second hand one, which are non existent! Will a cat back from another B5 or B6 quattro avant fit?

so what makes you think you can fit a decat to your car then. any bhp gain will be negligible but your car will then be illegal, and whilst the rest of use with cats dont pollute so much, you do.????

If you don't mind me saying, get back in your box!
All I asked was a question about exhausts. You don't know if it's a track car or not, therefore not a road vehicle so not illegal.
