Has this worked for any one as I am seeing some good reviews on the internet that it should reset the air bag light for me? My car is a golf MK5 2004 1.9 TDI

    Hi,

So me being an idiot .. I disconnected the airbag plug next to the hazard warning light while the car was running in the process of changing my head unit and now I am stuck with the air bag light on I know idiot LOL.. Any ways.. I know it is either going to be turned of again by using a VAG computer or going to the dealers so dealers obviously isnt an option as they will charge waay too much and i would rather buy the computer for around £20 any ways as it is useful to have too.

Question is.. Which scanner computer do I get? It has to be cheap so around £25.. Plenty on ebay for that price... Will any of them do or is it a specific computer that I need? Also, Does it have to be a VAG computer or can something like this computer do the job?

I believe I can use these for other things too such as read engine codes and other dashboard codes and reset them so therefore it would be a good tool to have but I do not want to buy one that will not reset the air bag light.

    Thank you!

Did you clear your airbag light. Which unit did you go for?
