I totally agree on the Window removal, the issue is that the car will have to stay inside the workshop until the new re-coated mirror returns.

Was it under warranty?

I’m trying to take out the mirror that is flaking without removing the windscreen.

It’ has been done before but I struggle to dismantle it without removing the windshield.

Yes, it was done under warranty. Very, very expensive.
