I ask because my 2016 Caddy Hiline Euro6 2.0TDi 150 PS DSG does not have a button to turn off the ESP - Traction Control.

The Dealer says that the new vehicles no longer have the option to turn off ESP ?
Its driving me mad because of the poor road surfaces, in some situations I need it turned off.

Has anyone noticed theres no ESP button ? or is my van the only one without it ?

    Brian

I hate switching it off, scary stuff

If driving off road, just pull away in 2nd gear to stop wheel slip, or in snow

you could always find a fuse and disable it, or put a switch in line with the fuse. its great in some situations, and ridiculous in others. mind you, people have been driving for a few years without it.

the roads are really poor here near Norwich, most of them are breaking up and resemble dirt tracks,
Ive been looking into this and theres 3 stability control modes, I don't want to disable the anti collision system.
