Hi guys new on this forum, im really struggling with my golf, what happen is i was looking to repair the grills in my air vents in the car when i had to pull the fascia off had to remove the abs and hazard light switch, after i touched that the car starts then cuts straight out, i noticed that if put my hazard lights on they dont show any green flashing lights on dash but the indicators work, also with the hazard light on if i move the hazard light switch around the lights flash on my dash intermittently, ive had 3d auto keys out because i thought it was it was an immobilizer issue but they said its not because the key starts the car and the key and car symbol i sent flashing ***, so now my cars not been working for 4 days im gutted dont know what to do checked all fuses everything connected but i cant hear my fuel pump working either hope some 1 can help plz

Did you work while the egnition were on? Getting any error codes from the ECU?

I doubt that the hazards would be a corporate but it does sound if you have a loose connection on the switch.

No sure where you find an abs switch? But if the ECU picks up an issue on the abs it might be possible that it's preventing you to drive? Not sure never had abs issues before.

Did you check both fuse boxes?

If no sound coming from fuel pump then check all relays and wiring to surrounding area.
Look again at the areas you have taken apart to see if you have trapped any wiring or dislodged any connectors.
Make sure all connectors are fully inserted and secure. You may have shorted out a relay.
Fuel pump relay is J17 and it also has 2 fuses so check both.
