    Thanks Andy

Is there a lot that needs cutting or just enough to access the holes for the bolts?

I believe the holes are already pre drilled for MY17 onwards and so just needs to undertray removing, side steps installing and then undertray put back after cutting?

Pretty much that mate. If your car is definitely "eligible" for the genuine Audi running boards then yes that is basically it... earlier models were not allowed running boards as the floor pan was not strengthened to take the weight of the boards once fitted. I think this changed with the MY17s... but if the dealer takes your VIN and confirms "yep, your car can have running boards" - then your good to go.

I have a 2017 Audi Q7 S-line and had the Audi genuine running boards fitted from the local Audi dealership. Audi dealership confirmed they use screws and brackets along with some sort of super glue. It costed me £1500 to have them supply and fitted to my car and took 2 days.
