Has anyone ever seen black running boards? Be it originals or painted ones? I'll be sure to get a set, but not in silver like the ones in the pic as they'd ruin the all black look of the car.

Anyone thought of a group buy for the ones on EBAY or suggest they become a club sponsor or offer club discount. Not sure how all of this works within the rules.

Did that once before for some door sills when I was part of a Honda club about 10 years ago, it worked well but yes not sure of the clubs rules here specifically.

That being said, I want to see the OEM ones first as I'm keen to know the quality of them vs Aftermarket ones despite the cost difference

And yes Q7Newbie, black also for me.

Am down at the dealer tomorrow to sign the paperwork on my order, so will see if I can get any more info from them face to face. The place on eBay is not far from me either, had an email reply back saying they haven't fitted a single pair yet (didn't ask if they had sold any); just meant they had no photos of any on a car.

I left the OEM ones off the order, as I am sure I can get the same 10% discount buying them once the car has arrived.

Let us know how it goes Elrao and if you can find out Part Number etc...

Can only assume the ebay ones have come from abroad somewhere... just never know on the "quality" of them...

Let us know what you find. Cheers!

Was looking at the Audi German website to see if the new my2017 options are out. Interestingly they now sell running boards at 1000eur which I suspect will be around 800gbp for us in the uk. Enclosed picture if people are interested

Thanks Papereyes. this was discussed in another thread also. I'm trying to find the Audi Part Number for these. Do you know it?

    Thanks

Trying to brush up on my school boy German. If not I'm over in Berlin soon so can pop down the Audi dealer over there and ask them

    Cheers. Likewise!

Looking through the configurator on the Audi DE site they get more options than us (Homelink / Remote Heating / Running Boards) were 3 I spotted.

I've got ETKA (Audi's internal Parts system) and I'll try to spin it up and find the part number that way also.
