    Hello everyone.

I have read through numerous posts and threads, but cannot find exactly what I am looking for.

I will have some spare cash soon and I would like to know which option may be the best to spend my money.

this will be an ongoing project as I plan on having the car for a long time.

The first parts I am going for to upgrade are engine/performance as they are the most expensive.

    OK.

The first option I was thinking was start off with the usual stage 1, stage 2 etc.

and the second option is the ko4 conversion kit.

which option do you guys feel as best?

One more critical component I could not find was what add ons have to be supplied with the ko4 upgrade.

Would it be the high pressure fuel pump, s3 injectors and an upgraded blow off valve?

I would not go into the ko4 route blind without knowing exactly which other parts I need for costing reasons.

Any help would be greatly appreciated and sorry for the long winded post.

    Best regards.

Having gone through the upgrade process myself I would say it depends what you're planning to do with the car. If you just want to put your foot down at the lights and drive in a straight line (obeying the speed limits) then spend all your money on performance upgrades such as stage 1, 2 etc, as well as an upgraded clutch obviously.
If however you want to go round corners quickly then you need to balance upgrading the engine with handling modifications. Consider thicker anti roll bars, upgraded suspension, Limited slip diff etc
