After waiting very patiently to get an offer on REVO I managed to get a voucher for 25% off which made it a very attractive proposition. I booked my car into a authorised distributor for REVO in Liverpool to get the re-map done, dropped my car off and left it looking forward to the improvements on collection. I received a call much later in the day telling me my car could not be re-mapped with REVO as they do not have a map for my car. Can anyone explain this to me as I do not understand why not as with it being a quarto it has the Tiptronic box.
Has anyone had any experience with DTUK box? Good / bad or indifferent?

I've moved your thread to a more engine related section, have a look through this section and the 3.0 TDI section and you'll find quite a few different threads which you may have missed when you done a search

Peter I have just had mine remapped at Tuning Developments in Warrington. They specialise in Jap but Nick can map anything - he has done other cars for me. The car made 162bhp before the remap... after it made 209bhp with an extra 80lbs torque! I called awesome gti thinking they would be the best place to go - £400 for a generic off the shelf map. Tuning Developments wrote a custom map for mine for £299. It moves like a freight train - also better on juice! Very happy!
