Morning people.....

i want to play my iPhone music through said mmi player in my quattro...i asked at audi and was told new system is £700???? before i spend more on my money pit I'm asking you guys is there any way of plugging a lead into the car or do i have to got down the road of crying at the dealers??

There is a £300 approx way but no lead to retro as far as I know. If you want the mmi display then ami or dension 500

As above Dension gateway 500 would be a good option and can be fitted DIY.

When I press 'Media' on my car the screen selects the CD or if I press it again it the selects AUX. Does this mean I have an actual AUX input somewhere or is this just the default menu incase I have the AUX?

You may have , look in the glove box for a plug. I think the lat ones had. My mmi says cd or Audi music interface. Which are fitted

Na, no plug in the glovebox. It's strange :-(

If you can't find anything. Then a vcds scan will show what's fitted.

Excellent! Getting it scanned this evening as engine management light is being temperamental lol
