    Welcome to VWAF

    I don't think there's anything specifically made for a white A7 but you'll find a few other members with white cars have asked similar questions;

    Hi Hunty. With a white car, tar will show up badly so I'd certainly recommend a tar remover. There will be more questions about car colours and products over at detailingworld.co.uk.

    Car Care Products | Detailing Products | UK - Clean Your Car has a very good forum too - worth considering them.

    The only products I'm aware of as far as being tailored to certain colours would be some sealants and waxes. Prep and washing wise, I'm not sure there's anything specific you need to do on a white car that you wouldn't on any other colour car.

    The most important thing before you start getting stuff together is to set a budget and choose your products accordingly.

    If it's a high mileage daily runner, protecting the paint and wheels would be my priority.

    Fallout remover and tar remover to get rid of the contaminants. Our white A4 really shows up the rusty fallout quite badly as well as loads of tar. I use werkstat which is now carlack. Great sealant which used together gives long lasting protection. Other option would be a semi permanent coating.

    My a6 was covered in tar spots and iron spots and worse along the sill and doors.
    i used carpro trix and this stuff is excellent on the white paint. You can see it working its magic quickly. Iron spots turn red and tar spots starts running quickly. I would seal or wax it with something after as it does seem to strip some coatings off. Used properly I think you can avoid having the need to clay the car.
