    Hey guys,
I know this is an old topic, but I have a similar issue on my A6 C6 2011, 2.0 CAHA - cooling liquid not getting to temperature. Last year it was OK, but starting this winter I've had these issues. My main problem now is that I cannot seem to find any of the 2 thermostats. Any pics are more than welcome, or Elsa screens, anything that would get me on the right track.

If you have a DSG box, it's usually the DSG cooler thermostat that fails.

This causes the coolant to get overcooled leading to low coolant temperature, poor heater & higher fuel consumption.

By the looks of it, I need the thermostat with part number 03L121111AD. BUT, I know that there are 2 thermostats, so... where is the second one? I spoke to the guy from the parts store, and he told be (by phone) that by the VIN number of the car, there IS another thermostat, that is somehow very close to the water pump, on the engine block, but his picture shows just like this:
    CAHA.jpg
So, if this is the case, does it mean that on top of the thermostat in the second picture, I have and need to replace the thermostat from the 1st picture? Is it possible that there are 2 thermostats in the same engine block hole?

    No, it's a manual gearbox.

You have this other type of housing fitted to your car.

The Thermostat is the same 03L 121 113 A for both types of housing.
