Audi a6 westfalia

Just fitted on my A6 Westfalia towbar,no problem!!!
I found that the bumper support in the middle does not sit on the towbar,no support for the middle.
I rang up well known company and explained the problem and told them that a genuine one is fitted with a support.They contacted Westfalia who said there was a bracket to be fitted on which was extra of course.
They also told me that last year they have have sold 62 and never been asked for the bracket and they did not know it existed

I had the support but didn't fit it. It's fine been like that for 6 years.
