arctic blue(baby blue) s3

has any one ever seen a arctic blue/baby blue s3, as i have seen one for sale but i thought they didnt come in that colour, or is it that the car may have been resprayed although the seller says it is a limited edition

A respray is not necessarily a bad thing as long as there is no evidence of damage or a bad respray job. Look for other evidence of damage (straight panels, even shut lines etc.) If that looks ok, then look for evidence of a bad respray job (overspay on trim, flaking, mottled/orange peel effect, dullness, roughness etc.).

If it all looks perfect, then it could have been resprayed properly and professionally.

Also, I know Audi do custom colours as an (expensive) optional extra. That is also a possibility.

when i was looking for my s3 i came across about 3 in arctic blue, i think only the later facelift cars were available in that colour. if you get the reg and vin from the owner, you can ring audi uk on 0800 699888 and they can tell you the exact spec/options the car was built with and also they can confirm the service history.
