Hi all and a happy new year for tonight!
we have the c6 all road 3.0tdi which has been parked up for a while, and basically the colour screen which displays the audio, nav and car setup etc isn't working? Is this a common fault, any quick fixes? Or if it's likely to be kaput where can I sauce another 1 from cheap?

Check the fuses on the door opening panel on the drivers side, I know one of them controls power to the screen as removed mine to check earlier in the year and didn't reseat that one properly.

Only remove them one at a time to ensure you know where they go back....I take a picture first to eliminate error

You will find that if the car has been parked or unused for a while it shuts down certain systems until enough battery charge has been gained.

    Could be a possibility?

On my 2009 model all of the fuses are listed on the inside of the fuse cover.

They're listed on yours too Mark.

OP there are some differing fuse tables depending on model year so best checking your own for reference as the screen is on different circuits in post/pre facelift.

OP what year is your car, as depending on the year the screen is powered differently

For 2G MMI (2004 to 2008) there is no fuse for the MMI screen it's powered from the control head.
For 3G MMI (late 2008 to 2011)there is a fuse and location will be listed in the manual.

Also it may not be the screen, if one of the modules on the most bus is dead then nothing on the MMI system will work. You need to check all the fuses for the the MMI system, control head, AMP, cd-player, radio, dab, tv, can-gateway, navigation and telephone.

In my 2007 it was defo one of the fuses where Roy indicated, so assume that's for the control head.

Hi, my car is 2006 06 plate 3.0tdi all road, I've checked the fuses on the right and all seemed OK, I've checked the fuses in the boot and the first 20amp fuse I checked had blown, I've swapped that but still nothing, I also dropped a 5amp and need to replace it, I've no idea what else to do? How do I check the control head?
There is no power to the screen, stereo and cd changer

Have you checked the fuses on the left? If you read the manual it will tell you what fuses are for which function.
